Our Story

Bali Eco was established in 1999 with the intention of creating tours that offered a unique and rewarding experience to Bali visitors. By taking them away from the tourist ghettoes and showing them the Bali they wanted to see – the “Real Bali”, not just the beautiful scenery, but giving them a hands on experience of typical Balinese daily life and a feel for the “magic” and “spirit” of this stunning island, it’s beautiful people and it’s vibrant culture.

Our Mission

We want to provide treks which educate travelers on the nature and culture of Bali, in both their history and the problems they currently face today. We aim to help visitors be aware of the most sustainable ways to interact with the island they are on and understand how to make socially responsible decisions while they are here.

Director
Kadek is currently studying natural disasters management at university as well as running Bali Eco Tours. His favorite trek is Ubud's Morning of the World Walk.

Trishna

Operations Manager
Trishna is a permaculture expert with a profound knowledge on all things plants. Her favorite trek is Lake Tamblingan's Jungle Trek & Canoeing.

Punk

Professional Guide
Punk is from the Klungkung regency of Bali and learned his trekking expertise directly from his father. His favorite trek is Batur's Sunrise & Swim.
