Ubud Morning of the World Walk & Spa
Morning of the World Walk & SPa
rice field sunrise, hidden pools & spa treatment.
We invite you to see Ubud before she puts on her make up. Join us on our director Kadek Adidharma's favorite walk, exploring the bustling markets, streets and lanes, village houses, fields and forests. Watch the sunrise over rice fields with herons taking flight, discover hidden treasures outside of the growing "town" of Ubud, pass the original house of Bali's first expatriate resident in 1928, German painter, composer and choreographer Walter Spies, enjoy a picnic in a farmer's hut and end your adventure with a 90-minute spa treatment, a soak in the cave pools and a lunch feast.
This is a gentle trek suitable for the whole family and children are very welcome to join.
Please see below for more details of the trip itinerary. Drinking water, torches, walking sticks and waterproofs are provided, but please bring your own swimwear and sun protection.
While many of the sights on this walk are picturesque, we do warn you that some parts will also reveal the downside of Ubud's rampant development. We invite you to join us in discussing how to keep Ubud's tourism sustainable and welcome your ideas on the best ways to encourage travelers to support the right kind of growth and development with their dollars.
